Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy is a hands on comprehensive, soft tissue intervention involving a range of techniques to manipulate the soft tissues and joints of the body. The benefits of regular massage therapy for all ages cannot be overlooked. It is used for specific sports injuries, general relaxation, tight musculature, postural aches from work/stress, scar tissue mobilization, lymphedemia, etc to help with your physical and emotional well being. Please see the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario website for more information about massage therapy and how it can help you.

What to Expect

Your massage therapist will take a history and assess any areas of injury or tension. The treatment will involve the release of adhesions or tension in the soft tissues using their hands. You will be in a comfortable room to make you feel at home. Afterwards your therapist may recommend stretches and simple lifestyle modifications to help with tissue healing and prolong the treatment effects. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to share with your massage therapist, we want to ensure you have a beneficial experience and promote healthy communication between you and your therapist.
